Default FRC Coupe or Vert?

I'm new here, so excuse the nublike question.

I may be in the market to buy a vette soon.
I really like the Coupe with the removable top. I've seen slight favortism(from the threads I've read) towards the FRC.
I'm curious as to what the difference would be between the FRC and the Coupe. Is there a significant structural difference between the 2?

I personally think the coupe/frc looks better than the vert, but I could be sold on getting a vert. Are there reasons to get the vert over the coupe?

Thanks for any input!!

If I were to do it all over again, still FRC!

If I could do it all over again I would get a Z06. Its all personal preference just like everything else. The FRC has basically the same outline as a vert with the top up. Best thing to do is test drive all of them and see which one you like the best. As you said, there is going to be favortism of ceratin styles because thats what they like.

I made the same choice a few months back and got me a pewter coupe. I love the sleek look of the coupe with nicely tinted windows. And it's cool to be able to take the roof off without losing the lines of the car.

I've never taken a liking to any vert of any model car.

I swore a long time ago that I would never have a car where I was fully enclosed. Sorry, but on a nice sunny day, there's nothing better than taking the top off and going for a cruise through the country.

I have the coupe. Best of both worlds.

I get the killer FRC roof line and the option to take the top off

Plus the Coupe is more stable than the vert.

Vert or FRC or the Z06 for me! NO COUPES

I do NOT like the large glass area of the regular Coupe

I own 3 Corvette Verts (64 72 & 98) and 2 coupes 76 & 79 (both T-tops)..

You can say what you want but removing the top still
not come close to the feeling a real Vert gives you...

Thus the t-tops stay on and the ragtops are always down..

Huh? The coupe with the targa roof panel has the same roof line as the FRC? Could you please explain this? I'm old and a little slow - and I don't understand what you're saying here.

And while you're at it - maybe you could explain this too....

Look at some examples of each and drive them as well....then decide what you like and what works for you.

It's personal preference...
The FRC is perfect if you want to do the track; go crazy with performance mods;

The 'vert is the way to go if you want to "turn heads"....it definitely gets a ton of attention.

The FRC is my favorite body style, that is what I would get if I had a choice. I never felt safe in a vert.
