I don't have a photo handy but I took out the ashtray and installed it there.

I have a small Sirius portable that I put in the center console and use the FM feed. The antenna is in the back and I fed the wire into the console tray. Works fine for me. (I move the dock and head between cars when I want.)

You can take it out. I did it so I could easily remove it for the home use.
