Intro and pics
First of all hello to all. I have been lurking for a couple of months now just observing and learning things here and there. This is really a great forum and I'm glad to be a member, on Jan 13 2007 I puchased my beautiful and in really mint condition 2001 Z06. At the time it only had 23xxx miles. It has always been my dream car and after 13 years of active duty Army service I figured it was time to give myself a treat. So far the only issues I have had was the dreaded faulty EBCM which was replaced by the dealer for free. Since the purchase I did the complete Frost King mod ,installed an Eclipse AVN-7000 HDD navigation/DVD 7 inch flip out screen head unit, 6.5",tweeters and crossovers in the doors and made my own speaker plates from 1/4" MDF to fit it all nice and clean, replaced the rear speakers with 2 way 5.25" Polk's, and constructed a box for two 10" Rockford Fosgate P2's. I'm powering it all with a 150x4 watt RMS 4 channel amp, and a JBL 1200.1 for the subs. The system sounds amazing and I cant notice any performance lost either. Sorry for being long winded, I'm just glad to finally be part of the club, here are my two most cherished things after my two daughters
