Default Mods or Motorcycle? HELP ME DECIDE

Some call it a mid life crisis, I call it and itch that needs scratching.

I've been looking at buying a 2000 Honda Interceptor to scratch that itch. I havent rode since I was a kid but Ive been getting spring fever.
After a few days of thought I'm wondering if maybe I would get more enjoyment from doing some mods to my stock 2004, Corsa Tiger Shark Pace Car Exhaust, X pipes, Rotors, Painted Calipers, K&N Induction, Z06Wheels, and maybe something fun like a hood liner by Paula.

OK so give me your thoughts.

Even with the mods the bike will be quicker. The Interceptor is a great bike you will love it. Nothing wrong with having a vette and a bike best of both worlds

Go for the BIKE!!!

I miss my gsxr600. I was addicted to riding, every weekend was a trip to the hills for some aggressive riding and I rode it daily around town for the year that I had it. Man I miss those days. Had to sell it due to too much trouble (tickets, etc.) and to use the money to buy my vette.

I say go for the bike, the vette mods will only make you happy for a short time. Then you will get used to them and wish you had bought the bike.

Remember, your vette is still a VETTE! even without mods.

The best of both worlds is what is pulling me towards the bike.

Went to the loacl dealership to look at some new ones and the wife fell in love with a cruiser, Honda Shadow Aero 750 and now Im getting pressure form her to buy that instead, but I think i would enjoy the interceptor more.

Dave I saw your post on the purchase, very nice. The Interceptor I was looking at is similar in that is Black and Grey to match My vette Nice ride.

This is an easy one, buy the Shadow for her the ceptor for you My wife has been riding her own bike for 32 years. She has had a Bandit 1200 for 6 years now. We take trips every summer by motorcycle its great. This sunday we are taking the dirt bikes out for the day. Like I said before best of both worlds. As great a bike as the ceptor is though it is not a great 2 up bike. The 750 Shadow is a fine bike also but for 2 people you might want more power. I have had a ceptor myself and it is a great ride but now that I am old I went with a 1800 Goldwing So keep the vette buy 2 bikes you won't be sorry

I say go with the bike, if you buy the bike you will still have the corvette to have some fun with also. You could have the best of both worlds this way.

My old Interceptor was the best bike I ever owned. I wish I had never sold it. I'd get one over Vette mods. I would never consider a cruiser though. An Interceptor to a Shadow is like a Vette to a Cavalier. If it was that deal, I'd go for a blower on the Vette instead.
Go on over to www.pashnit.com and ask them what they think. GET THE BIKE!
