The low profile of a corvette tire would not allow standard whit lettering to appear. It would look like a white wall while movind=g at any speed. Look at the white letters on the mid 70's tires & then compare how tall the side wall was then to the tires on the 84 on vette.

I love the letter tires and have had them on alot of cars but i never thought they looked right on a vette. The tires from the 50's were the wide whitewall and that look nice on those year cars.

I believe red line tires have just a narrow red line going around the tire that would look nice but i also l like the plain black tires on the C5's vettes. To me the wide whitewalls on a newer vette take away from the beauty of the car because all you see are those big whitewall tires and you are not looking at the car itself.
Nice photochop, but let's see one with the white-letter tires. If the car was "raced-up" a little bit then I could see it. Stock vette it will look funny IMO.
