Help me remove/replace steering rack-what MUST come out?
I am replacing my steering rack and PS pump in my 99. I understand that I can get the rack partially out through the wheel well if this were just a cam install.
Unfortunately the whole rack must come out. What components must come off the engine to get the rack out completely? I seem to remember it comes out from the top on the drivers side.
Who can tell me what needs to come off once the rack is 'free in the car'?
