Oh crap.
I'm sitting at home and I just find out that my employer has sold the company. I have no clue what my pay will be, will I lose 18 years of seniority, vacation, benefits

I hope your right! I'm guessing it will be better, Goodyear was going downhill fast and they needed to sell us. Who knows, maybe I'll get a matching 401K now, it's been years since I've had one.

As a still active 35 year employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber, I've watched this decline of their North American Tire investments for a very long time. While CEO Robert Kegan lines his pockets, the company heads south! This sale may not be a bad thing for your future after all. Best of luck!
