Default Question on Front Guards???

Not sure what to call them, but the black plastic pieces under the front bumper. I imagine their purpose is to direct air going under the car to the radiator....but my car is really low to the ground and they hit the ground quite a bit. are the two sides okay to remove or no?? also if not would it be bad to shave about an inch off all the peices to give me more clearance???? thank you!

You can shave an inch or so off, many have done it...

Peace

Some will tell you to never take them off. I think it depends on where you live. If your profile was filled out, I would know that.
If you live in a hot state, I would not take them off, and maybe just shave them a bit. If you live in a cool state, I would take them off. I am slammed, and have not run mine since I got the car, with no problems.

Some have posted here that they took the side air deflectors off and the car was OK. Others have said they shaved the height a bit and no problems.
