What springs are on this car? Are they Comp 918's or Comp 921's? Also, what intake is on the car?

Either way, this cam has the slightly lower results than that of a H/C combination of other tuners (Using LS6 ported heads) - This is a cam only car. Highest dyno I have seen for a cam only car outside of Synergy Motorsports.

26918/stock

As was stated...nothing magic or special here and it is what it is, as already described in full detail yesterday...

Default Cammin ZO6

The car drives great. the car also had a underdrive pulley and ported throttle body done by Phil.No hesitation in throttle responce.Pulls hard all the way to redline of 6800 rpm.Drove car to my parents house 2 hours there and 2 hours back with no problems.Got stuck in stop and go traffic due to road construction, car ran fine, idle was fine .Temperature was 80 degrees so i run the car with the air conditioning on the way there and back.No problems. Thanks Phil for a great Cam Package.Denny

Great numbers! Actually better than what my last '03 Z06 with AFR Heads, G5X1 Cam, Kooks LT's (hi-flow cats), etc put down. I was in the low 420 range at Xtreme's dyno in Tempe AZ.

The problem I had with my setup is that the torque was TOO strong too early and toasted the Michelin Pilots too easily. I always wished that I had a "bigger" cam that had more upper end HP and less midrange TQ. I was running new Pilots that were 335/18's in back. Its tough to say whether or not my thinking was correct on the Cam powerband though...

Who did this install and tune? With AFR Heads, there are guys runiing that smae set-up with about 440 RWHP and 400 RW Torque. Power comes from the combination of pieces, but with AFR Heads and a proven cam from LG, your numbers are low. Obviously you get more power from heads than you do a cam, combine them (With a proven combination like what you have from LG) and you should be close to what others have gotten.

Was this a Mustang Dyno - If so, they always read lower.

These numbers are with stock LS2 heads?

Did you dyno the car at DTE?

Brian's car was built, tuned and tested here and he had very specific performance/drivability requests that we were able to achieve through a combination of bolt-on components w/ DTE porting where we could, a cam grind matched to everything and of course our custom PCM calibration. The engine longblock was entirely stock.

I thought it ran VERY strong, gets great gas mileage for the power and the customer is happy, which is all that really matters in the end.

Yep! I need to revist Phil here in the next year or two and move to the AFR heads or maybe a blower set-up - but I am cool with it for now.

Those are very strong numbers for Cam only cars. The LS2 heads will only flow so well, in their stock form, so the FAST 90 set-up with increase air can only help so much on a stock heads set-up. To get 442 RWHP and 440 RW Torque is a lot of power.

Please view this thread on my car as I am running everything except a EWP. In street trim, my heads can take a lot more AFR leaning for race trim.

I don't know of anyone that I've met personally or have had work done there in CA. myself to make a accurate recommendation. However, from what I've "read" about on this board, folks seem to have had success with a number of tuners in the California area that frequent/support this board, so they'll be better equipped with actual experience to give you the answer to that question than I could.
