I think that the problem is that there are alot of Corvette newbies out there now. They were trying to get new buyers and they succeeded. Unfortunately, alot of these people have no idea about the heritage and customs that follow the Corvette. The only thing you can do is try to be a good Corvette Ambassador. I have noticed it alot as well. But the thing that always makes it worthwhile is when you look up and see someone waving at you.

Default Still early in the cruising season....

It's is still early in the cruising season, and some of those who didn't wave were probably brand new Vette owners who, never having had the power of a Vette under them before, are hanging on for dear life with both hands!

It was 90* all weekend So most people had their windows down. I gave every Corvette I saw an arm out the window wave. Only once did I get one back, middle aged couple with the top down BLASTING some country.
The woman was driving and they were both singing their hearts out!
It was a Pewter Convertible.
Hell, I've even started waving to SS Camaros, Vipers(there's only one in town, and I rarely see it), and Cobras. O yeah, classic owners wave too
I think the other 'Vette owners think their Corvette is higher on the totem pole since mine looks like a racecar.
I don't know man, just keep the wave going and hopefully they'll come around!
See ya around man!

I think I'm going to start up a counseling business, to help these poor unfortunate souls who are so wave sensitive. $75 per hour will get you a shoulder to cry on, a sympathetic ear for you to share your stories of how mean those other Corvette owners are for not waving at you, and a bumper sticker that says:
Other Corvette Owners Please Wave Back At Me. I Am A Pathetic, And Insecure Individual. Failure To Acknowledge Me While I am Driving My Corvette, May Result In Adding To My Feelings Of Inadequacy.

For an extra $25 I'll throw in a courtesy wave.

I think you need to look in to your own counseling services. Seems you woke up on the wrong side this morning...

Here it comes now, since people are getting their cars out from winter storage there is going to be a huge on-slot of threads about not getting a wave.

Wave, don't wave its up to you, but whats PATHETIC is negitive comments in a other wise simple thread... Those that don't like wave threads just should not read them. This one said wave in the headline so hard to not know what you were about to read. Spring is here so wave all you can, and enjoy your ride!
