Saw on the Tire Rack web site that you can scroll thru and compare different brands of tires and they have a chart that ranks them according to previous and current owners. My question; do you think the rankings are acurate or BS to sell tires by the company?
Are the tests that are done legit or just "what the owner feels" he would score the tire of his choice?

Previous buyers review the tires. Take a look at the type of vehicle, the number of miles driven, type of driving, etc. Compare comments from Discount Tires too.

I have quickly eliminated quite a few models of tires.

Some are customer reviews but I believe Tire rack does or has someone do actual tests for them under wet and dry conditions in several different driving circumstances. The tires are not always on a vette or as large size tires as we run but could be considered as a overall guide. That's my take on their tests.

Interesting to see how customers compare tires, and it would just be a guide too. Sometimes helps get one of the best tires you can for the money you want to spend and at least gives you information on some tires you wouldn't otherwise be looking at.
