can I get a VIN checked?
I've seen some other posts were a VIN has been checked (for vehicle options and service/recall history). Could someone that has this ability check this one for me please. This is the one I am seriously considering buying. According to the original owner it has always been dealer serviced, and has had the necessary recall work.

We I was looking at one I called the dealer in town I knew and they printed off a list of repair work done on it. I know its not a car fax, but its better than nothing to see if it had been in for anything major.

Go to a dealer and if he is a friendly type you can get the print out. This is very good for tech and service info. Car fax is not as good as advertised. There is another company I can't remember the name that is much better than car fax for crash type info. I ran both before my purchase. I hope someone else can think of the name..........
