Default wait....this isn't right....

saw this beauty at the Hooters carshow in Houston on Sunday.

we all know that the 1960 corvette convertable look like:

but this Isn't what's supposed to be under the hood....

it's also worth noting the insanely excellent craftsmanship that went into this car.

note the ostrich skin seats (trunk is also lined with it)
the entire car is immaculate..so clean you could eat off it (even the underside)

just thought i'd share

Cool. I almost purchased a '60 when I was first married. Let my spouse talk me out of it...bad decision.

I love those older vettes with modern drivetrains. A great combination. I hope to build one of those one day!

Thanks for all the compliments. Corvette Correction in Seguin, Texas, just completed building the car last Friday. They do great work.

And it is really a blast to drive!

Who wants a car that is 46 years old???

Remember when you were a kid, and you told your dad that you absolutely refused to drive an older car? You needed something that was in style.

This just might be the car.
