Ok...I've tried that one, but I guess I was trying to see what the numbers meant? Guess I'm confused, for instance what it suppose to have for an engine, tranny, exterior color etc.?

the VIN will only tell you the year, model, engine, and serial number of your car. If inputed into a GM dealer's computer, you can get an option list and GM service history. The RPO list in your glove compartment (under storage compartment lid on early C5s) will tell you the options without the GM computer.
