requires a 15mm socket or wrench to put pressure on the idler pulleys
put it up on ramps or jackstands - once that's done, the A/C belt might take 5 minutes, if you are slow - the main belt should take you all of 3 minutes if you take your time
has anyone changed the pulleys at the same time.... It looks like the large one on the crank shaft has a slight wobble to it. It makes a loud squeel for the first 10 minutes of driving.... any tips, reccomendations!!
I changed the main idler pulley and the AC tensioner. Idler is easy. The ac tensioner took me way too long. Ramps, as posted above would have seriously simplified the job. Better done from underneath. It would be helpful to have someone hold the AC belt in place at the harmonic balancer. I had to stic a breaker bar in to hold it in place. Great post of belt drive assembly etc. I could have used that!
