Default Changing water pump process?

I know everyone says that it is easy but this will be my first time working on the Z06 so I don't wanna screw anything up.

figuring on just getting a stock replacement.

I have torn whole cars apart before so I'm no noob to tools and what not, just want a little direction

thanks,
brett

I took one out in an emergency. Take off all the hoses, loosen two bolts. It pops right off, I don't remember the sizes, but it was so simple even a caveman such as I could do it. Post the question in the tech section for a better in depth answer.

I did this last week. First take the intake loose. 2) take belt off 3) remove tensioner 4) remove six bolts 5) clean block 6) put new pump on with new gaskets 7) replace tensioner and belt It took me about a hour and half by my self. I forgot about the hoses that half to be removed and put back on.

Brett,

Don't forget to change out rubber heater hoses and by-pass hose (if there is one). Rubber begins to dry out after about 4 years.

By the way, I am from Shenandoah, about 60 miles NE of Harrisburg. Between Pottsville and Hazleton. Now living in San Antonio.
