I am looking to buy a corvette to hang onto. So, from an investment point of view, what do you think would be worth more, A zo6 2003Anniversary Edition or an 2004 z06 Commerative Edition?

Unless you snagged #1 of either of these cars I think your grandkids will be old and gray before these cars will be considered an investment. At least the way you are thinking.
These cars are investments in sanity (or insanity ). Just way too many being produced now to believe they'll ever be worth more than they sell for new.
I don't know how many '03 Z06 Anniversary Edition cars that GM produced (all colors combined), but GM only produced 2,025 of the '04 Z06/Z16 Commemorative Edition cars. Of that number, some went to Europe, so IMO, the latter may be more "valuable" from that perspective.
A car is only worth what the buyer is willing to pay and the seller is willing to accept.
I would not buy either for an investment. As a general rule cars do not make good investments. Even a guy with a Ferrari probably loses $$$ when you take into account all the costs of ownership. If you want an investment put your $$$ into a good mutual fund.
I think both cars might hold their values better than a regular vette because of their uniqueness but that is about it.
In a 10 year time horizon, I bet you'd do best by shoppoing around for a really nice 2001/2002/2003 (any model; just get what you like) at a good price, put the $10000 difference in a mutual fund, and in 10 years you'll have a great car, 10 years of fine memories, and a mutual fund worth 20K+.
