Getting ready for this weekend's Eckler's show, Im noticing my fascia on the right side sits lower than it should, I have about 1/4 inch drop off between the front of the headlight and the fascia, and theres a lip from the fender to the fascia.
Problem is I dont see what I did wrong?
Anyone seen this commonly or know what I F'd up? The drivers side looks good, but the pass side looks pooey
ok, here we go... wow these pics make it look REALLY bad... and I was wrong, the driver side is opposite. So maybe the headlight needs to be adjusted as well.
taken from the emblem.
taken from the front, kinda can see the lip
taken from the pass fender looking at the headlight (crap it looks bad!)
taken from on the drivers side looking at the driver side headlight, looks kinda bad now that i think about it.
update: well, i tried aligning the headlight door covers. Taking them off and turning the little screws under them but holy cow, when I get them where they look good, the screws dont reach the holes.
Im missing something there... They look a TON better now but still not perfect. Also, I noticed one was cracked and epoxied back together again
It looks to me like that you need to loosen the nuts that hold the fascia to the fender and reallign the fit. Can you post a side shot so we can see how the fender/fascia mating surfaces look?
I've had my front fascia off a half a dozen times and have never run into this.
