exhaust question
hey. i was thinking of getting a corsa exhaust and i was wondering if you guyz could tell me what an x-pipe is for n what do i benefit from it if i were to get it?

If you have a 6-speed the x-pipe would help on the popping on down shifts but I don't think so much the auto's.

The x-pipe will smooth out the exhaust flow - on my car it helped reduce resonance and popping I was having with my aftermarket catback system.

Sorry, I have to disagree. My previous setup was Corsa touring with Corsa x-pipe. At idle it sounded very much like a motor boat engine and it popped like hell on decel. Now that I have Borla stingers with the same Corsa x-pipe, I don't have nearly as much popping at decel and the motor boat sound at idle is gone. I think it's just the nature of the exhaust.
