Headlight motor question
I have to replace my headlight motor on my '00. In mid year production of the 2000 vettes GM switched the motor type. They went from a aluminum gear box casing to a plastic one. I have the plastic one . I am trying to replace it and am finding that there are different part #'s on the motors,but they are suppose to be for the 2000-'04. Why would there be different part#'s on the motors?

I am also having headlight motor problems in my 1999. You should consider rebuilding the motors yourself as it might be more economical.

Thanks for the info. My gearbox plastic housing is cracked where the motor is attached. So when the motor engages the torque twists the motor away from the drive gear. So I get intermitent use.
