Proper Wheel Offsets: THIS IS SO ESSENTIAL! When considering upgrading to a true PLUS I, or, PLUS II custom wheel and tire application, go with a wheel manufacturer that is known to build CORRECT custom wheel offsets that are specific to your model vehicle and application (EX.: Is your vehicle "stock fendered", "Tubbed", or, modified with a wide body kit, etc.? And, are you anticipating installing a Big Brake Kit application?). And, you will, therefore, NOT have a new custom wheel and tire combination that protrudes unsafely, and, unacceptably BEYOND the fenderwell. And, then, of course, be sure to match and mount the proper sized tire width to the appropriate sized wheel width in mind (EX.: An 315mm tire width size is an ideal tire width size application for an 11.0 inch wide wheel). Moreover, go with a company that WILL NOT sell you incorrect and undersized tires to minimize the visual appearance ("obviousness") of an incorrect wheel offset application. If the custom wheel offset is wrong, the custom wheel upgrade is incorrect right from the start!
Also, you get what you pay for: Be prudent and selective. Take the time to research the history of wheel applications produced by any given wheel manufacturer. This forum has a wealth of pictures that display incorrect wheel offsets made by certain wheel manufacturers that are then sold with undersized tires for a lower cost than a set of HRE's, etc., to a novice wheel customer. And, we then hear of their extreme displeasure when the customer discovers that the lower cost custom wheel sticks out well beyond the fenderwell edge, and, how the undersized tire sold with the package appears overly stretched seemingly beyond its means upon the improperly offsetted wheel! Do your homework, and, you will have a beautiful outcome like Dave (Myvettedream), Frank (Jetz), and, so may others. Good Luck to You!
