my air conditioning stopped working =(
hello,
im my last car a ford taurus my a/c stopped working. i had more freon pumped in but there was a leak and from what I got quoted it was about $800 to fix.
now my vette A/C just stopped working for the first time yesterday. I'm scared that it is going to be very expensive.
it is a 98 and ive had it for 3 years myself. is there a small chance that it might just need to be recharged? please someone give me hope!
the a/c light still works and it still blows air of course but not cold air

If the freon is low the AC light will usually blink. You may have a problem in the part of the system that mixes the cold and heated air, rather than one with the compressor and freon part of it...
