If you took it to a dealer, it's possible they reset the computer which would kill any tune the previous owner did... Either that, or it's in your head..
ok im a new vette owner its been about a month, i just got my 99 serviced today, i really honestly think it got slower!! i had the oil changed, diff fluid changed, new air cleaner, and new fuel filter what the heck is the problem, i didnt think it would get slower, or is it just me? has anyone else had this problem is there something i need to know? wierd!
Hats off to GM Advertising personnel who convinced you even before you ever drove one that it was the "fastest thing around". They set you up and why? In order to fuel GMPP folks?
I am sorry to hear there is no cure. This is not good news, amigo. It is an addiction that will wring out your pocketbook and leave you eating one meal a day at the local derelicts Mission. Awful...the only good news is you have lots of company.
People do the same with their Harley. They spend thousands of $$$$ to make their bikes go faster. Confuses the hell out of me. If you want a fast bike, get a Suzuki!
I just bought my 98 last fall, drove it home from mississippi, and a little bit here and there. Wanted to just do a set of mufflers and ended up doing everything in my sig. From the time i got it home till the time i put it away for winter was about 1000 miles and 3-4 weeks. I'm SICK and need some help. Already wanting to spray HELP
