EBCM repair
I have a 2002 ZO6 that has lost ABS and associated functions. It has been diagnosed to need the EBCM and one dealer says the BPMV, both of which are priced parts. Anyone had a similar problem and can the parts be repaired. If not would it be resonalbe to put in a used part? How often do these parts go out. I would think they would be pretty long term. The car is driven daily and has 42K miles.

I know there's a guy on eBay that rebuilds EBCM's for a pretty good price. Around $300 I think. Don't know about the BPMV. Oh, and this is a very commonly failed part. I wouldn't waste my time with a used one.
