Default Replacing keyless remote wireless module

My remote died a year ago (or was it two?) and I narrowed it down to the receiving unit.

Well, I have a used replacement in hand - anyone know what I have to do to get to the old one and replace it?

I'm good with tools ...........

Default I did mine

The receiver is in the rear compartment drivers side. Open the rear hatch
and (as I recall, its been a few years) pull back the carpet on the side
behind the rear wheelhouse. The receiver is inside this panel mounted up
at the top under the fender. I forget if there were screws but the big
problem and I do mean BIG is prying the super tough double sided tape off
to get it unstuck at the top just below the rear hatch weatherstrip. Once
inside its easy to change the receiver. It turned out there was nothing
wrong with mine, it was one dead key fob, one bad battery in the other
fob and one intermittant front right TPS!!

OK - I got to the plastic piece covering it up. There is one of those "wing nut" things holding it on and I removed that. I'm not sure what else is holding the piece up there.

I will try and pry the piece off when I get home. I don't see any other mechanical attachment.

Hope I don't screw it up
