[Z06] draining coolant fluid, cant find plug

Default draining coolant fluid, cant find plug

i am trying to drain the coolant out of my 01 z06 and cannot find the plug/or bolt. Where is it located?

Radiator drain valve is on the pass side bottom/rear of the radiator. It drains out the bottom;you can see the drain, but the valve is facing the rear. You can use a 1/4" socket driver, because it's a square hole plastic thingie. Be gentle, as it takes only a quarter turn to fully open, and is pretty fragile.

Don't forget to remove the container of old anti-freeze from under the car. I left mine under the car for a couple of days, and the neighbor's cat suddenly disappeared.

I tried to unscrew mine and it broke It was only around $10 to replace though. Only need to unscrew 1/4 turn and then pull strait out to remove.
