Well just drove in from Florida (Sarasota) to San Antonio, Texas 1300 miles....Boy thats a hell of a drive...I drove straight on the way up but on the way back, we stopped at Lake Charles (Casino)...I wish I never stopped, I could have bought my 8 Rib set up with the contribuitons I made! ! 
Well, just wanted to tell you that between Sarasota and Tallahassee, I saw over 20 Corvettes on the Highway, during the day and on a Thursday..........mostly were convertibles.

I've made a very similar drive dozens of times...Jax Beach, Fl through San Antonio to Kerrville. About 1200-1300 miles, so I'm feelin ya. If you had to cruise somewhere yesterday, this weather was about as nice as any.

I took advantage and was Spring Break in Florida...........The only problem was that I was with my girlfriend and got cought many times looking around!

I've driven my 2000 vert from Delaware to central Texas (1,600 mi. one way) each summer for the last few years to visit family there. I have a great time on the road. Really look forward to the summer. I'll be heading back down that way again in a couple of months.
