Halibrand rims
I like the C6-Z06 rims ..they look sharp in chrome on any Vette I have seen them on.
Was web surfin lookin for prices on sticky tires, came across Discount Tire's web site, and out of curiousity took a look at what rims they offer for my C-5 .. Saw the pix of Halibrand rims ..yanno .. they really did go after the retro look (a few here probably remember the old magnesium Halibrands from a few .. er .. *cough* .. decades ago) ..and in *chrome* no less.
Got me.
I got a set of 'em and had 'em put on.
The caps for the fronts (seen here) weren't in the box, but should be to me in a week or so.
Man.
Really 'woke up' the cars looks.
I feel .. blinged
-Frank (came with new lugs, balanced, installed for under $700 out the door, and I got the stock rims for ..ohh .. door stops .. or .. paper weights .. or somethin.)
