Hey Paul, did you install your rear brake duct yourself?

Yes

I guess the hardest part was geting the hole in the right spot
on the rocker and the wheel well. You only get one try if its to big.

If you need any info. let me know. Ill be glad to help.

Thanks again all

I've never been a big decal fan, but I love your hood stripes and lettering under the fender cowl. Where did you get 'em?

Looks great. Really like the color, of course I'm slightly biased.

Thanks

Your outher car next to the Vette has a lot of decals.

I got them on bay. The letters are C6 stile. I was sent the wrong ones and tryed them out on the fender. I do not think thay will last to long on the fender.

Hey Paul,
Ya, I just bought some chrome C6 wheels, thought I chill for a bit before I start the brake duct, kinda scary to cut in to the car, but think I have an idea how to make a patern for the outside before I cut, the hard part I think is cutting inside the fender wall, marking that right spot...any ideas?

The wheelwell came out pretty good.
I only cut a hole for the duct to slid into.
Not the whole white line in the pic.

A few pics.

Hi Paul your car looks great. I have a 97 silver coupe also. If I only had the money for the wheels! Your car is done just how I would like mine to end up.

I have even seen those stripes on ebay and thought they look good. I want to do rear brake ducts screens but like most I am a bit apprehensive on cutting holes in the Vette!

I have done side fender screens and most of the interior in blue LEDs.
A few logos and silver painted gauge bezels so far.

Your front ZO6 screens look kinda red! Are they painted red or what!

damn, I didn't know you gonna have such great pic of the project, this big help, you line that up pretty good, I can't beleive the neither part came with cut out patterns, kinda left you on your own of lining things up, I don't know about yours but mine didn't even have the nuts to bolt the screen part on. Must be tricky to mark that white line just right......?

Thanks

I painted the screens burgundy and some outher parts, but I may change it. trying out how a burgundy hood decal will look this week.
I think it will go good w/firethorn int.
Good luck on geting some wheels and any other mod soon.

Thanks prep. will save you time in the end. Im a carpenter so im pretty good at lineing things out so that helps out a lot. My kit came only w/the parts and the nuts. I started working on it as UPS was driveing away One prob is I was given two driver side scoops, so I will be doing the passenger side Wed/Thur or Friday. Ill take some more pics.

Glad you like it,
Paul G.
