I'd start by getting the full options list from both just to compare.
I'd also see if the '97s owner has done the major maintenance items. At 150K miles I would start to be concerned about the clutch, etc.
All in all I think I'd take a one year older car at the same price if I could verify the maintenance.
I would have to see them both first, pics don't always tell a good story. With that being said, I would go with the lower mile rig. 150k is a lot and you would have to budget a higher amount to maintain it. You would get a 55k advantage on the black one.
Good luck!!!

I always, always, always, look for the lower milage car. Because of equipment that is bound to wear out like wheel bearings, water pumps, steering components, etc. That being said, from the information, the red car "seems" to have the cleaner "feel" to it. One owner etc. would be good to see them side by side and look for normal wear.
Try to find one very clean with a little less miles if you can.
Which ever one you buy you will more than likely have to put some $$$$ into it. Why not spend a little more for a lower mileage vette.
They are out there to find. Keep looking! My.02 worth
It's not hard to imagine spending 3-5 grand on upcoming repairs, on either one. I'd wait until you've saved that much and buy a lower milage car. $23,000 will buy vettes with half that milage.

Edit. Sorry photoguy, looks like you just said the same thing.
IMO buy the lowest mileage vehicle, otherwise your just gambling as to when major work is necessary. Plus instead of spending your weekends always fixing this or that, you can wash and drive.
I've done the fix em' weekends stuff, no fun. I like wash and drive much better.
I'd take the red one anyday for anywhere between $14,800 to $15,200.
Already got the Z06 wheels too and it's a 1-owner. These cars are meant to be driven, therefore I say I'm not afraid of the 150k miles. Heck, my car has 112k on the clock!
The red car looks flawless from the pics, but again pics don't always tell the whole story. Black-on-Black is nice when clean, but very hot in the summer heat, I think I'd be uncomfortable.
Whatever you do, know that there will be additional costs that will/may creep up on you. For instance, my car w/112k miles, I had to rebuild the tranny. Nice $2,000.00 bill there... But as long as you willing to maintain it, these cars will go and go...
At that kind of mileage you really have to get close up and give each car a good looking over. The red car DOES look very clean, but once you put another 50K on it you're going to have a Real tough time selling it. The back one might be a better buy if it's clean and well taken care of. But again you have to get out there and look at them.
I have to agree with the rest of the opinions. The red one looks clean, and he was more willing to show more pics of the car, but I would look at them both. Cleaner does not always equal better...but lower mileage does also not always equal better (my C4 had over 220K on her...they will last if you take good care of them)
Just make sure you take your time, it might even be worth it to pay a few bucks to have your local Chevy dealer or GM cert mechanic look at it. Also, carfaxx is our friend.
