I was checking my oil and noticed my dipstick looks like a curly french fry (all twisted), is it supposed to be like this or did some dumb *** mess it up? Also there is the area near the bottom which looks like XXXXXX but it doesnt say full anywhere, is the top of that design the full line?
sorry for the dumb question but this just seemed kinda odd.

Twisting gives it a little bit more strength and stability when re-inserting dip stick. Other GM products are flat, and they can be a bear to put back in sheath.
I wonder if that extra quart was playing any role in my 111mph trap speeds
Did you just buy the car? If so, you should change the oil regardless. I'm couldn't tell ya if that affects your trap speed, but to much oil is not good.
