which of the gears in the automatic transmision offers
fastest acceleration(0-60)
........and should you shift back into "drive"
on the c6 is the new paddle shift system simply allowing the driver to
use his thumbs rather than the shift **** but with no other advantage
is the c7 due in 2010(but being sold in 2009)?

I believe, you should be at/past 60mph before you leave 2nd gear so put it in 3rd and let the car shift itself, 0-60.
