Powder coating

I would like to get my alternator powder coated and I was wondering if someone has done this and could share some photo's? Does anyone know where I can get this done?

search for mike mercury's post on chroming the alternator.

same process, except you would send the shell to a powdercoater instead of a chromer.

two types of powder coatings....

There are two types of powder coatings; polyester and epoxy. The epoxy is the most durable to oil, gas, rocks, ect. The polyester is for lawn furniture .
The trick is to disassemble all the parts to be coated. Insist that all machined surfaces are taped off and that all threaded holes are plugged. Coating is .03-.06 thick.
