I just noticed my overflow container on my 99 is leaking. Upon closer inspection I found a tiny crack in the tube that the small rubber hose on top connects to. Can something like JB weld provide a temporary fix until I can replace the container. Which vendor offers a good price on this container? Anyone have a good used one available?

Before I purchased a new one I would pull it off, clean it (inside and out) and use some black or clear RTV to seal it off. Should be invisible as a repair and a heck of a lot cheaper than replacement.
Has anyone repaired their overflow container with RTV? Since it is pressurized I thought it might leak using RTV. Mine is cracked where the small hose attaches on the top. I am removing it today to clean it out and inspect the crack better.

I read in here somewhere that they aren't expensive at all and when mine gets to the point where I would remove it (very easy) I'd just buy a brand new one from Gene Culley and be done with it for another 9 years.
