Default New Frame Savers

Just want to say thanks to Manny aka Nasty98 for the new style of rocker savers. These fancy plastic ones are easy to mount and work well. It did not take but a couple of hours to test them. I love the look of lowered vettes but they do like to bottom out. My mechanic said it was an easy mount and all the screws and part were packaged well. If I did not have another brand on my Vert (have been on for years) I would buy another set. I would recommend them to anyone to protect their car.
Thanks again Manny the Nasty98,
Jeffy

Frame savers? Are you referring to the "Rocker Savers" that mount under the side of the car, or the two frame rails up front? I bought and installed a set of his Rocker Savers last month and couldn't be happier with them. I put them to good use almost on a daily basis everytime I enter and leave my driveway.

But yeah, I'm all for sending out a big "Thanks to Manny" for coming up with such a great product, at an even better price!!!

WOW thanks for the great feed back guys. For all those that have lowered or are getting their Vettes lowered this this product is available at forum vendor. http://www.eliteengineeringusa.com/index.html[/URL].
In Canada you can contact me directly

Sometime this coming week I will be unveiling the all new
" FRAME SAVERS " This is a vacum formed hardened urethane that will wrap around the front frame bars and bolt together using one stainless steel nut and bolt. No holes to drill and a snap to install. Just like the FRAME SAVER they will be available for both C5 & C6 Corvette's ,and you will be able to purchase them from Elite Engineering.

Thanks .
Manny.............

They are so light... nearly weightless! And the plastic is maintenence free - no painting .

I love mine too... sure to take some of the stress out of driving a C5.

Default Sorry for wrong term

Yes, it is ROCKER SAVERS I was referring too. But as I told Manny I need the FRAME SAVERS when they come out.

I installed a set of Elite aluminum frame savers and i am very pleased with them. Easy installation and they offer a lot of protection. Chuck

The rocker savers Nasty98 developed (sold through Elite Eng) are not aluminum like yours. They are a super light weight polymer.

It is cool that EE has them in "both flavors", but the ploymer set is the way to go... light, no paint, and leave the shipping slots open for pucks, etc.

I was one of the lucky ones to jump on the first batch of the rocker savers... tested one last night on a speed bump. Hit it HARD on the pass. side rocker. Took a nice chunk out of the rocker saver, but no damage to the rocker itself. It would have been ugly otherwise.

Hey Nasty98, remember when I suggested the frame savers in your original thread?!? I would be glad to be the first to test them out for you!

maybe i missed it, but is there a link where i can get these fabulous front frame savers and rocker panel savers? my front two metal frame bars (under the front bumper) are scraped up, so i'd like to not damage them any more. I haven't hit anything hard with them, but it seems the previous owner didnt anticipate a curb or speed bump very well. also the "rocker savers" would be nice too.

Manny........

I apologize for taking so long to get back... I was cruising around out in the ocean (with the navy) and didn't have internet access. There is a chunk missing (that is the technical term of course) but overall it held up very very well and I don't see any need to replace it. I appreciate the excellent support and standing behind your product!
