Default New Paint Job

I was wondering how much a quality paint job goes for? Ive heard you can get quality for 2500 but then some guys dont go with a paint job for less than 10k.

I would have to see a $2,500.00 quality job before I would let anyone do it.

I had my front and rear facias replaced and hood painted by insurance, I added another $1400 to get the whole car done, was dreading it not matching. High-end shop, money well spent IMO.

thanks
It's a tad darker than the original (hence the wanting the paint to match) but came out great, friends tell me it looks clean even when dirty.

The price will depend of whether they are just going to tape windows and areas off, or if they are going to remove everything and paint it.
When you tape off places you often have drip marks in some areas...usually they can be buffed out. Also, they wont be painting everything....under the hood, door sills...etc.

Prep is a major, if not the most, important part of a paint job. Make sure the person doing the painting knows how to work with glass.

Check out other paint jobs they have done. Painting a car is a big job and should not be done on a tight budget IMO.

Just my $0.02

I would say you would be looking at $4000.00 -$6000.00 for a good job. Who ever you get make sure they remove all the body panels and do it right or you will be sorry.
