I just bought my '02 several weeks ago after 12 years with a C3 and I have spent many hours on this great site learning about it. I have not used the car yet, except to drive it 5 hours from Cincinatti, where I purachsed it, to Detroit on a very nice winter day. The car has 9,400 miles on it.

While looking for information on why my battery was dead after the car was sitting unused for a couple of weeks (looks like I'll need to invest in a trickle charger) I learned how to check my DIC codes and found various codes in history. There were 14 different problem codes. Some of them are as follows:

B0432 - Rear defogger relay circuit
B0503 - RH DRL relay circuit
B0508 - LH DRL relay circuit
B2483 - Backup lamp relay circuit
B2593 - Column lock/unlock
U1064 - Class 2 communications malfunction

The other codes that I didn't include here appear to be issues with me letting the battery run too low.

These are all of type 'H' (history) codes. My rear backup lamps work fine as I believe the rear defogger does. I don't know what the DRL relay circuits are.

Should I be concerned about these?
Should I just clear the codes and see if they reappear?
How and when does a code get changed from 'C' (current) to 'H'?
