Just curious if anyone has used the WCC lowering kit that comes with the bushings and two bolts. If so, how long are the bolts and how far up are they threaded? Let me know your experiences and if you are content with them....
From: 90% of all Fords are still on the road.....the other 10% actually made it home!
I can't tell you from experience because I don't have them, but I think the threads are only on about the first inch or inch and a half. That's all that's really needed for this particular application. Unless you really need new bushings, I personally wouldn't spend that much for those bolts. You can go to any hardware store and buy (2) 7" x 1/2" Grade 8 bolts, a couple 1/2" Grade 8 washers, and 2 nylon lock nuts for less than $10 and have exactly what you need to lower the rear of your car.
Or there's a guy in the "C5 Parts" forum who I think is doing this same thing and calling 'em "Lowering Kits". Anyway he's selling these kits for like $24 shipped. (They don't include instructions though) Not that anyone needs them, it's a very easy swap.
