I'm planning on putting new tires on my car, hopefully next week. Do I need to get an alignment? I'm putting stock size GSD3's on. In the past I've always done it, but I was just curious what others are doing.
Do you get an allignment when you lower your C5's too? I was planning on maybe doing this in a few months too, so will I need to do it again?
Sorry, my complication is that I was planning on going to an autox on the 28th and there's no way my bald run-craps will get me in, but I also don't want to risk uneven wear but pushing them for a few days.
You dont need an alignment when you change your tires but you will when you lower it. I suggest you just get the C5 alignment not the Z06 alignment, unless you plan on autocrossing your car.

I think a good alignment is good $ spent. Why spend maybe $1200 on tires and not $88 on an alignment? Just have the shop drop it on stock bolts before they set the alignment specs probably at the same time the tires are mounted.
