You can always get a big screwdriver, scrape a piece off of the hood or someplace and take it to these new digital paint shops. They can match it perfectly.
So far, I have done this with white paint, and I use toothpaste to cover up the scratch. Comes fairly close. Maybe crayola crayons for the others???

The above are RPO codes, not paint codes. The "WA" (factory) paint code can be found toward the bottom of the car's Service Parts Identification (RPO) Label. For model year 2000, the Service Parts Identification Label should be on the inside of the car's glove box lid. In the example pic below, U 382E is the "WA" paint code for this model year 2000 car which is painted Light Pewter Metallic. Your car's "WA" paint code should appear in the same place on its RPO label.
