Default Stuck-up window

Hi folks, I have a 02-z06 with 20k on the clock...Washed the car last week and found out that my passenger side window will not go down..Tried from both master and door switchs and only hear clicks...Is this a simple solution like a fuse or relay of does she need to go in to the deal? Has anyone experienced the same problem?
THANKS
MIKE

allright, i know this will sound crazy, .............but here goes. i had the same problem with the pass. window. if you get somebody to hold the window down button while you hit or jar the door panel right arond the grab bar, this may un stick the motor. it worked on my car and my buddies cobra when we had stuck windows. dont be affraid to knock the hell out of it, just be sure somebodys holding the window down button when you hit the door panel. trust me, it works.

The fonzi method usually works for me. My pass window likes to stick after it rains. I turn the car on and then sit in the passenger side. I feel that I have a better chance if the battery reading is above 14. Then I press the button down while I open and slam the door a few times. If that doesn't work, then I'll bang the door panel and squeeze the accordian cover in front of the door.

Well the sun came out today and so did my Z...My son and I went for a nice quick ride and he hit the window switch and the window went down and up! Must have been some winter spiders hanging out but I can bet you they all got blown out on RT. 117.....

Something I started doing is everytime I get in the Vette, I lower the both windows. I also raise and lower it a few times from the passenger seat using the passenger side window button. Mine isn't a daily driver, and very seldom have a passenger. Folks on this great forum pointed this out and I now lower and raise the both windows from the drivers side everytime I start it, and raise and lower from the passenger side each time I'm out scooting around, smiling and waving all the time.

For years GM had perfect power windows. Never a problem. In last xx years, I have seen/heard about problems like yours.

Tis a shame.

My 04 started having this problem about 2 months ago, on and off. I even scheduled an appointment at the dealer to have them check it out, but on the day of the appointment, it started working! They told me to just bring it in when it wasn't working, which happened again last week. So, I ran on over and they had to replace the motor. You could hear it clicking, it just wouldn't work. Common problem from what I've read. Odds are, you'll probably have to end up having the motor replaced at some point as it may just give up, as mine did.

Yup this is a common problem and as the guys said this is a sign your motor is gonna go out soon.. The door banging will work for awhile then all of the sudden it wont then motor time..
