Has anyone installed the insulation kit under their carpet to keep road noise down?

alot of people here have done it. Not to tough to do .....but some worry about the weight it adds to the car. It is on my list of things to do.

Welcome
Do a search on Crazy Cowboy and you'll be reading about insulation for days.
Mine is in the garage waiting for a couple little things before I tear the car apart and do it.

Welcome to the forum
I installed it last year in my 97. It works pretty good on sound and heat.

I got amazing results using house fiberglass insulation (you can put it in plastic bags) in the 3 wells. I then went to $40 of coned foam insulation. It is really light, cheap, easy and effective.
