I'm waiting for mine from Mid America. The guy on the phone who took the order said that they have double sided tape to attach them. He said to be careful because it's kind of a one shot deal to get them right. We'll see. I should have them in a day or so.

you can also use silicone which gives you the ability to move it around if you don't get the perfect fir the first time. The cool thing about silicone is that excess comes off clean with no residue. I used black silcone from Home depot to install my front grilles.

I don't know how the stock ones are fixed but mine (Vetteshoppe) use velcro. The go in very well and aren't coming out without a fight.

I placed mine in the openings and pushed them tight making a note of where the velcro layed. I then taped the other side of the velcro about a 1/4" back in further. Then I layed a piece of thin cardboard on the velcro and put the grills in and pushed them in hard so the velcro lined up right. Pull the cardboard out and voila!

Ralphyboy - I can't imagine how you're gonna get them all the way in using double sided tape. That tape is gonna stick WAY before you get them all the way back.

Ralphyboy, try some wax paper over the double sided tape maybe, or fold back a corner of the tape paper backing and get them in position, then pull the rest of the paper backing off after they're in position.

Might also suggest just removing the double sided tape from the screens, then apply velcro. I bought some 3/4" velcro in squares from a craft store. Then apply the screens with the velcro like jbondfl says. I used the 3/4" velcro squares to install mine from GMPartsHouse.com.

I Velcroed mine but anything will work. There is no reason to remove them for cleaning, maintenance, etc.

I got them Saturday morning, and had to get them in before the Northeast T shirt cruise Sunday .They went in with the double sided tape OK( you have to lift the top of them up and then let the bottom touch because the tape is only on one side, and on the bottom of the piece), but I'm not sure that I like the position of them. I looked at some ZO6's Sunday, and it seems that mine aren't in as far as theirs are.I dry fit them before I used the tape, and thought it was right. I may try the velcro method since I have some from some other projects. Thanks for the suggestion guys.

Use velcro, you will eventually want to take them off to clean in there.

Got mine from MidAmerica. They are in with the provided tape and it's secure. It's not hard.

You can do the velcro method, the double sided tape method or screw them in like on the Z06. My advice, go with the velcro.

Default Just did it this weekend.

Just did mine. I pulled out the factory fog light shroud to increas the air flow. It was a bitch to get in there to unbolt and get those suckers out. Wound up jacking up the car, tkaing off the air fliter and the front radiator shroud and then going in from the bottom.

Used the double sided tape that came with them, but also drilled in 2 holes for each one (bottom side) and then used 2 body clips and screws per side which is what the factory Z06 mount looks like.

Cleaning? Just spray the garden hose :-P

Be careful taking out the old fog light housing because there is a wire grommeted in to it that you will have to relocate to the new screen housing.
