[Z06] Need some Cam advise....

Need some Cam advise....

I have a daily driven 2001 Z06 that is stock except for a Callaway Honker. I know that the biggest difference between the 01 and 02+ cars is the cam. I plan on getting some LG pro, AR, or Kooks LT headers without cats in the near future. My goal is this: to get a good all around performing cam that has reasonable streetability and will give me a substantial performance gain on stock heads. I am also considering getting a Maggie or a Kenne Bell down the road so ideally I would like for the cam to be compatible. Would the Texas Speed TSP224R
(224/224 .581/.581 116 LSA) or TSP225/225 (225/225 .595/.595 114+2 LSA) meet this criteria or are there better alternatives? Any ideas?

We have our 2X cam package. Nice street manners plus puts out some good power.

Similar, but the 2Z isn't a profile we use anymore. I think the last time we used that profile was about 3 years go if I remember correctly. Nothing wrong with the cam, just not the current 2X.
