After a visit to the dark side with a C6 and then having no Vette at all for the last 8 months it's good to be back. Just picked up an '04 black/lt oak coupe and it feels soooo good. Still love the lines of the C5 with it's classic Vette featues (including the pop-up lights).
It's good to be home. Life is good.

Welcome back. I tried a '05 C6 for just over a year, and it was the most unreliable POS I've ever owned. When it worked, it was nice, but the major memories are of all the times and ways it didn't work right.
can i ask why you got rid of the c6? Im thinking of upgrading and just wondering if you did not like it
I got rid of the C6 because of quality issues. The top was falling apart as was the new 6 speed auto. It just was not a good car. And, IMO, was not really a step up from the C6 in any way except for the 50 hp which really isn't all that noticeable, IMO.
