Is there a big difference between the 2002-2004 Corvettes or are they basically the same??? Is the 2002 basically the same as a 2004??

You may want to try some searches on this forum. A lot has been posted on this topic. Just off the top of my head, here are a few key differences I am aware of. These changes apply to 2001-2004 models:

* Use of LS-6 intake manifold and some other tweaks...results in a 5hp increase and more torque at lower RPMs

* Stronger synchros in the transmissions

* Improved 2nd generation active handling which became standard equipment.

* Improved soundproofing.

* Wagon wheels replaced in 2000 with thin spoke versions

* Standard chrome exhaust tips

* Numerous other small tweaks

Hope this helps!

Basically yes. In the '02-'04 you have a good chance of have the LS6 block instead of the LS1 block. I have the LS6 block on my '02.

04 had minor differences, primarily computer/electrical related.

If you do a search, you'll find that some parts, etc, are valid from 01-03, and separate p/n for 04.

Diablo predator tuners, for instance.

How can you tell if you have the LS6 Block? I also have a '02 and would like to check.
