E-Brake works only when pulled SLOW???

E-Brake works only when pulled SLOW???

Just adjusted my E brake and it works.... but only when I pull the handle slowly. If I pull quickly (normal speed) then there is no resistance and it does not work. Anybody have this problem before?

Yep...
...you can replace the ebrake..
...or you can take it apart and repair the rod...

My e-brake didnt grab enough..whether pulled fast or slow...turned out to be a broken pass side e-brake cable...now I can park on MT Everest and she wont move with the e-brake on....

Shoes usually dont wear out as they are not used all that much....unless of course you drive with the e-brake on by accident...then it can wear quite quickly
