I bought my car on eBay half way across the country.
I invested in a plane ticket to see the car and paid for it then. I did not send the money and just have the car delivered. I couldn't afford that risk.
Hopefully your car is just what you expected, and if it is, you'll be just as thrilled with your new car as I am with mine over two years later.
