I have been getting a rattling noise occassionally when I am taking left hand turns. This weekend I was taking a long lefthand sweeping turn and it rattled thru the entire turn. It sounds like it is coming from the front wheel well and extending to under the passenger door. After the sweeping left hand turn I also noticed a burning type odor. Once I straightened out noise and odor disappeared.
I know this sounds stupid and obvious. Throw a torque wrench on your lug nuts to make sure they are tight.
I say this only because a friend who thought his rear end was failing (he was hearing a bad noise) had his car towed to the Corvette shop and that is what they found.
It does not explain what you are smelling but is easy to do so you can focus on the real issue.

Any suggestions on what it could be?
Thanks
I'm going out on a limb. Have you been running the AC? It could possibly be the AC drain clog? If it's clogged that would allow the water to collect and fall into the squirrel cage on the blower motor? You would be more likely to hear it on left hand turns as it slides to the right and falls into the cage. It's also possible to explain the burning smell if the blower motor is getting wet? Check the passenger side carpet and underside of the dash behind the glove box for dampness.
Pull the passenger door panel, tighten bottom window mount bolt, mine backed off allowing it to rattle under those conditions. Someone here told me about that problem, smell might be something else. Hope it helps.
