Default Dark themed vettes....

I'm currently in the process of completely blacking out my entire car....but i decided that not everything needs to be black. I'm caught between what i currently have (which is mostly chrome accents) or a really sweet looking C5 i saw yesterday with red accents.

Owners of "dark black" vettes, what did you go with and why?

I like 'em blacked out (tint, removal of emblems, etc.) but got to have some flash around the wheels. At minimum, black wheels with polished edges and centers.

Just my opinion, of course. There are some here with solid black wheels and they love 'em.

I'm reffering to black cars, with dark addons: blackout kits, tinted windows, even black rims etc.

The question is on subtle things: such as the lettering to go chrome or red accents.

i guess you could say i was into the blackout theme at one point...

i've learned to compromise since then (since finding out that woman don't dig blacked out rides)...

I'm not going for all black, but I AM trying to keep all the shiney stuff off my car... so out went the thin spokes and the stock corner lamps. You can't tell in the pic, but I also have the windows tinted.

Got my 98 6 speed coupe mid Jan 07, it looked like this;

Lowered on stock bolts, not all the way on them YET, Z06 screens as well as front brake duct, side vent and rear facia screens, 17" front/18" rear non Motorsports wheels, drilled/slotted rotors, front turn signal blackouts, red GS stripe and now looks like this;
